Checkered Quilt Ochre Yellow – Hand-drawn checkered matte non-woven wallpaper – Atelier Chien

A touch of nostalgia with a warm, playful twist! The Checkered Quilt Ochre Yellow Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is inspired by the charm of a handmade quilt. The beautiful hand-drawn checkered pattern in a warm ochre yellow shade gives the nursery or kid's room a cozy, timeless look. A distinctive design that brings together classic patterns and contemporary style.

What makes this wallpaper so special is the playful, hand-drawn checkered pattern. The subtle imperfections in the lines give the design an authentic character, as if the pattern was drawn onto the wall by hand. The warm ochre yellow color instantly brings warmth and ambiance to the room and pairs beautifully with natural wooden furniture, soft cream tones, and warm earthy colors.

The quilt pattern has a charming, almost nostalgic feel, making it a wonderful fit for both modern and vintage-inspired children's rooms. Use it as a striking accent wall behind the crib or paper the entire room for a warm, harmonious space. Try pairing it with olive green, soft blue, or burgundy for an unexpected, contemporary color palette.

The wallpaper is made of matte non-woven wallpaper with a calm, refined finish. This allows the hand-drawn lines and warm colors to truly shine. The material is easy to apply because you paste the wall directly.

Each package contains two wallpaper strips of 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. The pattern has a repeat of 51 cm, which you should keep in mind when matching the strips. This creates a beautiful, seamless quilt pattern on the wall.

The design was lovingly crafted with care and attention by Annechien, the designer behind Atelier Chien. Guided by her love for color, prints, and playful interiors, she creates unique designs that give every space character. The wallpaper is made to order in the Netherlands, with a focus on quality and fine craftsmanship.

A wonderful choice for anyone who loves a nursery or kid's room with warmth, personality, and a subtle vintage touch. At HUSKS Home, we love pairing this wallpaper with natural materials and refined color accents for a stylish look.

How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 strips of 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, these cover a wall width of 106 cm, provided the wall height—including the necessary trimming allowance and pattern repeat—fits within the available strip length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 10 cm extra to the wall height to allow for minor height variations or uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm and round up to calculate the number of strips needed. Because each package contains two strips, divide the number of strips by two and round up again.

Keep the pattern repeat in mind: The quilt pattern has a repeat of 51 cm. Account for extra trimming loss when matching the pattern between strips. Be sure to check in advance whether the 270 cm strip length is sufficient for your wall.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper strips in a single order to avoid slight color variations between different production batches.
