The Powy by MarMar Copenhagen is a wonderfully soft knitted baby pant in the color Light Blue Melange, a beautiful light, soft blue shade with a subtle melange effect. The color appears calm and refined and combines beautifully with cream, natural, grey, and other soft baby colors.

The pants are made from 100% cashmere and feel exceptionally soft, light, and comfortable. Cashmere is even finer and softer than merino wool and has hardly any itchy wool feel. This makes it a great choice for sensitive baby skin.

The Powy has a slightly wider fit, giving your baby plenty of freedom of movement. The pants don't sit tight around the legs, making them wonderfully comfortable for sleeping, playing, and relaxing.

Why cashmere?

Cashmere is one of the finest and softest natural types of wool. The fibers are very fine, giving the fabric a particularly smooth and soft feel when worn.

Compared to merino wool, cashmere generally feels even finer and softer. At the same time, it offers a lot of warmth for relatively little weight. This makes it a beautiful material for baby clothes: soft, supple, warm, and not heavy.

Cashmere does not need to be washed after every wear. Often, airing it out is enough to keep the material fresh.

When washing is necessary:

Preferably hand wash in cold to lukewarm water
Use a mild wool or cashmere detergent
Do not rub or wring vigorously
Do not soak for long periods
Gently press out excess water
Optionally place between a towel to absorb moisture
Then lay flat to dry in shape
Do not tumble dry
Do not dry on a radiator or other direct heat source

This way, the fine cashmere fibers will stay soft and beautiful for as long as possible.
