Cluck, cluck! The Washable Rug Chicken by Lorena Canals is a handmade cotton rug in the shape of a cheerful chicken. The warm terracotta and brown tones, playful details, and varying textures beautifully bring its plumage to life.

The movable cord legs give the rug extra character and invite children to look, feel, and imagine. A playful eye-catcher for the nursery, children's room, or play area, with which you can easily add warmth and color to the space.

The rug is made mainly of cotton and has a base of recycled textile fibers. Extra practical for a room where lots of playing goes on: the rug can be machine washed at home.

Wash the rug separately at a maximum of 30°C in a washing machine with a minimum capacity of 6 kg. Choose a delicate cycle due to the cords and other playful details. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.

Tumble dry at a low temperature. Remove the rug immediately from the washing machine after the cycle is complete. Using dryer balls can help keep the rug nice and fluffy.

Blot up spills immediately and treat stains locally. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Cotton rugs may shed some fibers initially. After unpacking, lay the rug flat for two to three days and then gently vacuum it with low suction. Do not use a robot vacuum or a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush. If a long thread sticks out, carefully snip it off and never pull on it.
