The Powy trousers by MarMar Copenhagen are wonderfully soft knitted baby trousers in the colour Alpaca Melange. The warm, mottled natural shade gives the trousers a calm and luxurious look and makes them beautiful to combine with other cashmere items from the same collection.

The Powy is made from 100% cashmere and has a somewhat roomier, looser fit. This means the trousers don't fit tightly around the legs, giving your child plenty of freedom of movement. The soft knit makes them wonderful trousers for relaxed days at home, in the pram or as a luxurious layer on colder days.

Cashmere consists of exceptionally fine fibres, making it generally even softer than merino wool. The material is light, supple and wonderfully warm, without feeling thick or heavy. Due to the fine fibre, cashmere also barely feels itchy, which is extra pleasant for sensitive baby skin.

Why cashmere?

Cashmere is one of the finest and softest natural wool types. The fibres are very fine, giving the fabric a particularly smooth and soft feel when worn.

Compared to merino wool, cashmere generally feels even finer and softer. At the same time, it offers a lot of warmth for relatively little weight. This makes it a wonderful material for baby clothes: soft, supple, warm and not heavy.
