The Aly Baby bonnet from MarMar Copenhagen is a wonderfully soft baby hat in the color Rosa Melange, a beautiful soft light pink shade with a subtle mélange effect. The color appears calm, refined, and timeless, and combines beautifully with natural, cream, beige, and other soft baby colors.

The bonnet is made from 100% cashmere and feels exceptionally soft and light. Cashmere consists of very fine fibers, making it generally even softer than merino wool. The material hardly has an itchy wool feeling, making it extra pleasant for sensitive baby skin.

The classic bonnet model fits snugly around the head and covers the ears comfortably. Under the chin, there is a button closure with two settings, allowing you to slightly adjust the fit and ensure the hat stays in place.

Why cashmere?

Cashmere is known as one of the softest natural wool types. The fibers are exceptionally fine, making the fabric feel supple and soft, and giving less of the typical woolly or itchy sensation.

Compared to merino wool, cashmere generally feels even finer and softer. Both materials are fine natural wools, but cashmere is primarily chosen for its luxurious, light, and extremely soft feel.

Fortunately, cashmere doesn't need to be washed after every wear. Regularly airing out the bonnet often keeps it fresh. Less frequent washing is also better for the delicate cashmere fibers.

When washing is necessary:

Preferably hand wash cashmere in cold to lukewarm water.
Use a small amount of special wool or cashmere detergent.
Do not rub, scrub, or wring vigorously.
Do not soak for extended periods.
Rinse gently with water of approximately the same temperature.
Gently press out excess water.
If desired, carefully place between a clean towel to absorb extra moisture.
Then lay flat to dry in the correct shape.
Do not hang when still wet.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not place directly on a radiator or other heat source.

By treating cashmere gently, the material will remain soft, airy, and beautifully shaped for longer.
